The design is strict, there are no decorative elements. The screen is visually frameless, it looks like a monolithic surface, bounded from below by a narrow bar, and from above and from the sides by a narrow border. The edging and plank are made of plastic with a black surface. The bar is convex and has a mirror-smooth surface, so almost any arrangement of light sources in front of the TV on the bar will be conspicuous glare, which interferes with watching TV. By displaying the image on the screen, you can see that there are actually narrow margins between the external borders of the screen and the actual display area (from the display area to the external borders of the screen, 9 mm from the top, 10 mm from the sides, and 17 mm from the bottom). The outer surface of the matrix is glossy, but when viewed perpendicular, you can see a slight matte blur of reflected objects. There is no special anti-glare coating. The surface of the screen is black in appearance and hard to the touch.

In the standby mode, the indicator is bright red, and in the working mode it glows green, and alternately blinks red-green when the TV is in standby mode with an active schedule for recording a TV program.
The standard stand consists of two aluminum alloy legs with a check mark, which are attached to the lower end with screws. The surface of the legs is anodized and painted in silver-gray color. The legs are supported by anti-slip rubber pads. The rigidity of the structure corresponds to the weight of the TV. The TV stands steadily, with no apparent tilt. The distance between the extreme points of the legs is 892 mm.
An alternative way to install the TV without using a standard stand is to mount the TV to the wall using a bracket for VESA 200×300 mm mounting holes.
The back panel is conventionally in the upper part made of a thin sheet of steel and has a resistant black matte finish. The back-protruding casing in the lower part with the entrance to the lower end is made of black plastic with a matte surface.
The interface connectors are located in an open niche on the housing at the back and are directed sideways. From the front, it is inconvenient to reach the connectors that are directed sideways. In the box with the TV, we found two plastic bushings with ears (the other two were already screwed to the legs at the back), a plastic strip with holes, a screw and a screw. Apparently, all this can be used for laying cables, but what and where is attached is unclear, since we did not have an installation guide.
Air for cooling the electronics passes through the grilles on the lower end of the housing and in the upper part of the housing at the back.
The software platform for this TV is an operating system based on the Linux kernel. The Vidaa U3. 0 user interface is used. The main page of the interface is a horizontal ribbon of square icons-displaying a list of applications, selecting the source, accessing multimedia content on media and on the network, going to settings and quickly calling a number of applications.
The bottom part may display ads in the form of recommended content. Yes, yes, first the user pays for the TV, and then they are shown an unplugged ad. The background for the title page is the image from the current source, that is, in fact, there is no page as such. There is an app and content store.
Playback of multimedia content
In a cursory test of multimedia content playback, we limited ourselves to a number of files that are run mainly from external USB media. Media content sources can also be UPnP (DLNA) servers. 2.5" hard drives, external SSDs, and conventional flash drives were tested. After the absence of a long access and in the standby mode of the TV itself, the hard drives were disconnected. Note that the TV supports reading and writing USB drives with FAT32 and NTFS file systems. EXT4 support is also announced. There were no problems with Cyrillic names of files and folders. The TV player detects all the files in the folders, even if there are a lot of files on the disk (more than 100 thousand).
We have confirmed the ability of the TV to display bitmap image files in JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP formats, including in the form of a slide show with transition effects and background music. Images with a size of 3840×2160 pixels are displayed one-to-one in pixels in true 4K resolution, but with a slight decrease in color clarity horizontally.
Sound
The volume of the built-in speaker system can be considered sufficient for a typical living room. There are high and medium frequencies, and there are also a little bit of low frequencies. The stereo effect is felt, although it is not very pronounced. The sound is clearly coming from below. There are parasitic resonances of the body, especially felt at some frequencies. However, in general, taking into account the class of the TV, the quality of the built-in speakers can be considered acceptable.
Playback of test videos with 10-bit color and smooth gradients showed that the visibility of transitions between shades is much lower than with a simple 8-bit output without HDR. 10-bit output is obtained using dynamic blending of shades, as a result, some images show flickering areas, it is good that this is rare and noticeable only on a static image. The colors of the HDR content are close to expected, though a little pale. The maximum brightness recorded in the tests in HDR mode does not differ from that in SDR mode.
TV Tuner
This model, in addition to the satellite tuner, is equipped with a tuner that receives analog and digital signals of terrestrial and cable broadcasting. The quality of reception of digital channels on a decimeter antenna mounted on the wall of the building (almost direct visibility in the direction of the TV tower in Butovo, located at a distance of 14 km), was at a high level-it was possible to find TV channels in all three multiplexes (30 in total, plus 3 radio channels).
